We hope that you are healthy and safe during this unprecedented time in our country. We know that we are all focused on our own health, and the health of our families and communities. The safety and well being of our community is our top priority. We encourage you to stay informed and take all the necessary precautions as advised by the CDC, as well as any guidance specific to your state of residence.
We are closely monitoring the ever evolving situation around COVID-19 and updated guidance from the CDC and our host state, Massachusetts. At this time, based on the latest information, including increasing social distancing mandates and other measures being implemented to flatten the curve, and the considerable amount of time to assess and respond to developments between now and July, we are planning to proceed with the 2020 ACIU-NA National Convention, as currently scheduled, July 23rd-26th in Boston.
We will continue to monitor the public health developments and evaluate the situation and make any necessary changes to our scheduled event, with the safety of our community and attendees being our top priority. In the meantime, the ACIU Boston chapter continues to work hard to plan and execute a successful convention for all. Please help their efforts by:
- Making your hotel reservations as soon as possible, and
- Sending in your convention brochure advertisements (deadline is May 24th).
